Overview

The position will support projects in HDR’s San Francisco Health or Education and Science (Ed-Sci) Studio. In Health, project types include hospitals, clinics and related facilities; in Ed-Sci, projects include research and development facilities for academic, government, corporate sector and biopharma clients. Projects may include health delivery, research, imaging, metrology, teaching, testing, and pre-production facilities in areas of public health, life sciences, physical sciences, biocontainment, related support facilities and other. Responsibilities
Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility Recommend and select procedures Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters Take responsibility for phases of individual revenue-producing projects as needed Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s degree in Architecture California RA is preferred Experience in civic, aviation and transportation facilities Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max Rhino and Grasshopper experience Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture or closely related field A minimum of 3 years experience Registered Architect Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process Demonstrated graphic presentation skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe & Our Commitment
