Chamberlain University is seeking a dynamic Nursing Dean of Academic Affairs to lead the BSN program at the Irwindale campus and support student success through innovative, student-centered strategies. This leadership role oversees academic operations, mentors faculty, and ensures delivery of high-quality nursing education. Overview
Executive-level nursing education leadership responsible for ensuring program quality, regulatory compliance, and student achievement within the BSN program at Chamberlain University’s Irwindale campus. What You’ll Do
Lead & Innovate: Oversee the BSN program to ensure curricula are current, high-quality, and aligned with university objectives. Drive Student Success: Promote persistence, graduation rates, NCLEX performance, and overall student satisfaction by implementing the Student Success model. Build & Inspire Teams: Lead faculty, academic support staff, and lab teams; foster a care-driven culture that supports excellence. Ensure Excellence in Teaching: Support faculty with regular evaluation and best practices in teaching and learning. Monitor & Evaluate: Assess program outcomes and pursue continuous improvement. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with national academic support teams on curriculum delivery, compliance, and budget management. Ensure Compliance: Maintain regulatory standards and liaise with local, state, and national teams to ensure program compliance. Shape the Future: Develop new programs and expand existing ones to meet evolving needs in nursing education. What You Bring
Master’s Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred 5+ years in nursing education, including 3+ years in a leadership role Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to mentor diverse teams and foster collaboration across departments Expertise in curriculum design, faculty management, and program delivery with a focus on quality outcomes Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in nursing education Additional Responsibilities
Develop and manage annual budgets for academic operations Serve as a resource for faculty, students, and academic leaders Represent Chamberlain University at professional events and in the community Ensure compliance with relevant state and regulatory agencies Perform other duties as assigned Benefits & Compensation
