$180,000 - $210,000 base + up to 20% bonus About the Company

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Senior Director, Accounting

to oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, large company experience, and the ability to lead multi-location teams while driving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Key Requirements

CPA required Background in Retail, Apparel, or Consumer Packaged Goods (inventory, sales & use tax expertise strongly preferred) Experience with SAP (implementation experience a plus) Prior leadership experience in a larger company environment Ability to travel to Pennsylvania office twice a month (2-3 days per trip) for at least the first year Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. Prepare accurate semiannual financial statements. Partner with FP&A to analyze variances, compare actuals to forecasts, and support month/quarter close. Review monthly journal entries and related balance sheet reconciliations (payroll, accruals, reserves, etc.). Oversee AR and inventory reserves; streamline processes to improve month-end efficiency. Manage sales & use tax, business licenses, registration renewals, property tax, and other compliance requirements. Collaborate with IT to optimize ERP and reporting systems. Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow, borrowing base, and approval of wires/payments. Strengthen internal controls through documentation and process improvements. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Support ongoing SAP implementation. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: the individual\'s skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs.
