Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking 4th to 7th year Associates with an interest in complex commercial, class action defense, and financial services litigation. Positions are available in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and interpersonal skills, be interested in working on a collaborative, cross-office team, and have strong case management skills. Responsibilities
Analyze issues for, conduct research on, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues for complex litigation.
Prepare for and participate in motion arguments.
Prepare outlines and exhibits for depositions; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
Trial preparation experience, including preparation of outlines and exhibits for direct and cross-examinations.
Be strategic, analytical, and able to work directly with clients.
Manage case activities, including running written discovery responses, document review and production, and working with experts.
Qualifications
Law Review/Journal and/or Moot Court experience preferred, but not essential.
Solid academic performance and good standing with the NY State Bar.
Admission to the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits The expected pay range for this position is $310,000-$420,000 per year. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials where applicable.
