Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework. Job Summary

The Student Stage Manager provides leadership of background or off-stage support to performing artist presentations. The student stage manager is a part of the production leadership team and, as such, works with the team to foster a learning and working environment that is physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe; where all are included and feel a sense of belonging. Overall, the student theatre manager ensures that all elements of the production process are well-organized and run efficiently. Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate and run theatrical auditions. Addressing any issues that arise during rehearsals or shows, ensuring smooth operations. Assisting with the promotion of productions through posters, social media, and other channels. Overseeing the technical crew and front-of-house staff during performances. Organizing resources such as costumes, props, and equipment including helping schedule fittings Acting as a liaison between directors, cast members, crew, and other stakeholders. Manages production on show nights usually from backstage. Managing schedules for rehearsals, performances, and technical setups. Creates and maintains the daily schedule Performs other duties as assigned Education

Typical office environment and occasional meeting or special event facility. Some requirements for strenuous physical exertion. Base Rate Per Hour:

15.00 *Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations *Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
