Within MITRE’s Intelligence Center, the Strategy and Policy Department has the mission to enhance our sponsors’ policy formulation, planning, and strategy execution across the national security enterprise through all-source intelligence and resource analysis that informs decision-making to address threats in an era of strategic competition. The Department is accountable and responsible for programs with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Roles & Responsibilities : The Strategy and Policy Department seeks a Graphic Designer to create clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations and graphics charts, diagrams, infographics) to illustrate findings, convey meaning, and support data-driven decision-making for government officials to support the flow of information within the organization and across the Intelligence Community (IC). The position involves working directly with senior-level government stakeholders to create visualizations that effectively communicate their ideas across a multitude of mission areas and organizational functions. Responsibilities Include

Create presentations and graphics for senior leaders Provide expertise to government sponsors about the most effective way to visualize their ideas and concepts Prepare ad hoc graphics on short notice in response to time-sensitive inquiries Develop concepts and repeatable processes for government sponsor products to optimize organizational resources Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience Active Top Secret / SCI Clearance with current polygraph Expertise with multiple graphic design programs and platforms Ability and willingness to work full time at government site with government sponsor (no ability for remote work) Understanding of the Intelligence Community organization and functions Experience operating and interacting with senior-level government officials This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field 5-7 years of graphic design experience supporting the Intelligence Community Experience on the ODNI staff Experience supporting executive-level IC officials This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s) : Top Secret / SCI / Polygraph This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s) : Top Secret / SCI / Polygraph Work Location Type
