Determine proper placement of equipment, ensuring power, cooling, and space requirements are met Understand equipment specifications and calculate power, breaker size, and placement requirements Work with databases like CND and a homegrown DCIM tool to manage equipment deployment Ensure strong understanding of power, space, and cooling requirements for telecom equipment; work independently and learn quickly Partner with Engineering and Operations to provision and test networks (UT/iEN/5G) throughout the country Provide field Technicians with Remote Configuration and Test support for US Domestic growth and revenue projects (e.g., Card adds and Circuit adds) Support in-service network system reconfigurations, assisting on-site field technicians with high-level switching and real-time review during Maintenance Events Submit Engineering Support recommendations to maintain real-time documentation of network systems infrastructure, cross connects, and circuit audit corrections Use daily: UUI/CoFEE, ICON, CCP, VPNS, ACTP, and Venue engineering systems MSC (Mobile Switching Center) engineering – cell site, RAN equipment & implementing equipment Qualifications

Strong understanding of power, space, and cooling requirements for telecom equipment Ability to work independently and learn quickly Understand how to deploy equipment with power, space, and cooling limitations Understand secondary power, rack placement, and power requirements Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not strictly required Ability to read equipment specifications, calculate power and breaker requirements, and understand placement limitations Experience with databases, specifically CND and a homegrown DCIM tool The hiring manager is open to candidates with less experience if they can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly No specific certifications or proficiencies beyond general technical skills required Why this role?

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
