Overview
TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to join their team in Columbia, MD. They offer engineering solutions for communication companies, wireless carriers, and tower owners nationwide. This role backfills a current Telecommunications PM locally and is an Engineering position with PM duties. Candidates should have an in-depth background in A&E engineering including design review (AutoCAD Civil 3D), drafting, MACRO roof top sites, structural engineering and analysis, TELCO D markings, deliverables, project plans, job setup, costs, labor, BOM, MOP, SOW, RFPs, PNL, etc. Note: This is a hybrid position (2 days in the Columbia office/3 days remote). Workload is expected to be 90% in office (home/remote) and 10% in the field via site visits. Responsibilities
Manage projects and clients as primary point of contact. Review advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy. Ensure quality control/quality assurance on all assigned projects. Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide marketing and business development support. Identify and develop opportunities with existing and potential clients. Negotiate with clients on scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules with supervisor approval. Manage support for a maximum of 4 direct reports. Work Arrangement and Travel
Candidates should be open to business development, sales, and professional client communication to help acquire new business. Travel within the DMV is possible (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement). Qualifications
5+ years of A&E engineering (structural preferred; basic AutoCAD/Civil 3D review knowledge; no design experience needed). 2+ years of project management experience (Telecommunications preferred). Ability to think creatively, make recommendations, stakeholder communication, cross-functional team support, and reliability. Pay and Benefits
Salary: $110,000.00 - $154,000.00 per year. Company paid medical, dental, and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability; life insurance.
