Post Quantum Cryptography Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton. Location: Washington, DC. Key Role
Use your network engineering or software development skill set to implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms across a variety of reference architectures. Work on transitioning products, systems, and environments to post-quantum standards. Use comprehension of operating system environments and network configuration to analyze the development of advanced methodologies to help promote cutting-edge analysis of PQC. Leverage cybersecurity experience to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information system assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements. This position is located in Washington, DC. Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a data researcher, data scientist, or PQC scientist Experience with software development or network engineering Experience with low-level programming in C, C++, or Java Experience with data engineering and data deployment pipelines Knowledge of protocols in the TCP or IP suite and software services that use them Ability to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts using information security, including systems and network security Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor\'s degree Additional Qualifications
Experience with Linux, RedHat, or Debian Experience implementing and maintaining security controls across server-based environments Knowledge of the cybersecurity risk management process and governance, risk, and compliance strategies and tools Certified Ethical Hacker Certification Clearance

Salary and total benefits: The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
