Responsible for manufacturing processes compliant with quality standards. Support customers in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective/containment/preventive actions. Assist customer focus team in resolving quality issues following quality standard practices. Develops and implements a plan for lean/6 Sigma deployment within the plant. Provides progress reports and action plans for lean/6 Sigma implementation. Perform other quality related activities as needed. Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities
Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records. Education And Experience
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, with coursework or project background in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Quality Control (QC) procedures and quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Design of Experiments (DOE). Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer. Six Sigma and/or Lean-Kaizen experience is a plus. Proficiency in computer skills. Personable; must interface well with customers. Salary Range (annual): $100,000 - $120,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business, and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
