The Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including: Divorce, legal separation, and parentage cases Allocation of parental responsibilities, spousal maintenance, and child support Orders of protection and other related family law disputes Representing clients in routine court appearances and hearings Drafting and arguing motions Conducting legal research and writing Engaging in settlement negotiations Maintaining consistent and professional client communication Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar 2–5+ years of experience practicing as a family law attorney Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Strong advocacy skills, professionalism, and a genuine passion for family law The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $120,000 per year, with eligibility to participate in the Firm’s annual bonus and performance incentive programs. This range reflects the potential base pay for the role; actual compensation will be determined based on additional factors such as experience, education, and skills. The Women’s Divorce & Family Law Group also offers comprehensive benefits, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans Employer paid long- and short-term disability coverage 401(k) plan with employer match after one year of employment Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Please note that the compensation range provided is not a guarantee and is subject to change.
