We are seeking a reliable and experienced
Per-Diem Of Counsel Attorney
in Albany, NY, to assist with court appearances, hearings, and other per-diem legal matters. This role is ideal for an attorney with local experience who is interested in flexible, on-call work while supporting a busy New York City–based law firm. Responsibilities
Handle per-diem court appearances, hearings, and conferences in Albany and surrounding counties Communicate with the firm’s attorneys and staff to ensure seamless coordination on assigned matters Provide timely updates and written reports on outcomes of appearances Review case files in advance to prepare for appearances Assist with drafting, filing, and legal research on a per-diem basis as needed Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar Experience with Trusts & Estates, Probate, or related areas of law preferred Strong oral advocacy, communication, and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to represent the firm professionally in court Based in or near Albany, NY Compensation
