This position is a Ryan White Eligibility and ADAP Specialist for FDOH Alachua. It is a Career Service position that works directly with new and existing eligible clients for Ryan White Services and support in Alachua County. Performs eligibility services for the Florida Ryan White and AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). This is a highly sensitive position where access to HIV/AIDS services is essential, and information security is maintained following need-to-know guidelines. Utilizes the most current manuals and guidelines (Florida HIV AIDS Ryan White Part B Eligibility Procedure Manual, FL DOH Patient Care Program Administrative Guidelines, FL DOH ADAP guidelines, and HRSA). This is an area-wide position in the Ryan White Program serving 15 counties and may warrant travel to other CHDs. Under the supervision of the Regional HIV Patient Care and Treatment Access Coordinator at the FL DOH – Alachua, duties include but are not limited to: Enroll newly diagnosed and currently active HIV+ clients in DOH Area 3, completing annual enrollment for Ryan White Services and ADAP; determine financial eligibility; document eligibility in CareWare, HMS, and other systems; verify insurance, income, and residency; upload documentation; conduct ADAP eligibility per guidelines; upload prescriptions, labs, and other information; interview pregnant women for presumptive Medicaid eligibility; assess psychosocial needs and refer as appropriate; establish liaisons with economic services staff; travel as needed. Ensure eligibility and clinical data are entered timely and accurately; enter viral loads and CD4 counts every 4-6 months into the PE module; participate in ADAP monthly conference calls. Maintain knowledge of Medicare Part C & D, ACA, and private insurance programs; ensure coverage meets ADAP standards; manage insurance premium payments and program implementation for Alachua County clients; review applications for completeness; advocate with health plans and CMS; process disenrollments; maintain knowledge of related benefit programs; communicate information to case managers, field staff, and medical providers. Collaborate with community-based organizations and pharmacy personnel to ensure continuity of care. Complete EARS Weekly; attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings. Perform all other related duties as requested. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft systems. Experience working in Electronic Medical Records. Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills. Qualifications
