Your Role The Tax Manager will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in managing the company\'s global tax function. This includes overseeing compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws, identifying and implementing tax planning strategies, supporting transfer pricing documentation, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure tax is thoughtfully integrated into broader business decisions.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate global tax compliance, including U.S. federal, state, and foreign income tax filings (direct and indirect).
Support tax planning initiatives, including entity structuring, intercompany arrangements, and expansion into new markets.
Oversee and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation across international entities.
Assist with annual tax provision calculations under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740).
Liaise with external advisors and auditors on tax matters, including audits, filings, and technical interpretations.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements aligned with the company\'s strategic goals.
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and assess potential impacts on the business.
Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts from a tax perspective as needed.
Support annual Form 8802 application for Tax Residency Certificate (6166).
Partner with finance, legal, and business operations teams to provide tax guidance on contracts, new products, and operational decisions.
Apply advanced project management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in tax and accounting software, treasury management systems, and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master\'s in Tax preferred.
5-7+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and in-house corporate tax.
Strong knowledge of U.S. tax law and experience with international tax issues, including transfer pricing and foreign entity compliance.
Working knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provision processes.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
Experience working in a high-growth or multinational company is a plus.
