$70,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Essential Functions
Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensures post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations. Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions. Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates. Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated. Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management or designated representatives. Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required. Inspects posts as scheduled and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates. Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. Performs supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws, including interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, directing, and evaluating work; coaching and disciplining; hiring and termination recommendations. May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy. Education/Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred. Competencies
May be required to hold and continue to meet the requirements for applicable state, county and municipal security officer licenses. Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services. Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures. Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance. Understanding of security and safety devices and controls. Ability to learn quickly and follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions. Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances. Courteous telephone manner. Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures. Ability to write routine correspondence, logs and reports. Good organizational skills. Strong customer service and results orientation. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients across diverse cultures. Working Conditions (Physical/Mental Demands)

Seeing, hearing, speaking and writing clearly to communicate and perform duties. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may include stairs and uneven terrain. Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Regular lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Nearby or distant vision and ability to adjust focus; use of a vehicle in performance of duties. May be exposed to inclement weather or environments requiring protective gear and personal safety awareness. May handle sensitive and confidential information.
