About the Role
We're hiring an IT Systems Architect to help us improve the way our tools, systems, and processes work together. This role is hands-on and technical, with a focus on automation, integrations, and cleaning up some of the complexity that’s built up as we’ve grown. In the near term, you’ll spend most of your time building scripts and improving workflows while leveraging AI, and helping us reduce tool sprawl and vendor noise. Over time, we’re looking for someone who can help bring more structure and long-term thinking to how our team operates. If you like solving real problems, working across teams, and turning messy systems into something that just works, we’d love to talk. This role will be hybrid, requiring in-office anchor days from our San Francisco, CA office on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What You Will Do
Automate IT workflows by integrating systems like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, and ITSM; deliver at least one high-impact automation. Streamline SaaS lifecycle through procurement, renewals, and consolidation; reduce tool sprawl by deprecating redundant apps. Improve cross-functional processes with Security, Compliance, and People Ops; drive shared workflow improvements. Shift IT to a proactive partner by addressing tech debt and delivering quick wins that enhance the internal IT experience. Strengthen documentation standards by contributing reliable, scalable knowledge to the internal knowledge base. About You
Fluent in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.), APIs, and automation platforms like Workato or Zapier Skilled at designing and implementing scalable systems Able to leverage generative AI tools to improve IT workflows and automation Comfortable collaborating with other teams and other stakeholders Willing to roll up your sleeves and build, implement, and maintain critical systems Able to focus on immediate needs while aligning with long-term IT goals Values clarity and scales knowledge effectively within the team Competitive compensation package, including equity. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $132,000.00 - $198,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location, and the total package includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
