Senior Consultant, IT Risk & Compliance - Financial Sector role at Forvis Mazars US. The IT Risk & Compliance team assists organizations from various industries in managing IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. Services include IT audits, risk and maturity assessments, data protection, and control testing to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity. What You Will Do
Lead and manage multiple concurrent client engagements, overseeing the project lifecycle from scoping and planning to execution and final reporting. Ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Serve as a technical lead on complex IT and business process audits, guiding methodologies, conducting risk assessments, and developing control frameworks to deliver high-quality work on time. Evaluate IT environments and key controls by designing and implementing testing strategies that ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and align with Financial Sector regulatory standards. Maintain expertise in IT audits, SOX compliance, cybersecurity, privacy consulting, Financial Sector Regulations, and process improvement initiatives. Conduct technology audit activities to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, operational efficiency, and compliance with government regulations. Foster strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for value-added insights, and ensuring client satisfaction. Advance long-term client relationships through strategic communication and understanding of client business needs. Coach and develop junior team members, providing training and performance feedback to support a culture of continuous learning. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 3+ years of relevant IT audit experience in public accounting, the financial sector, or a professional services firm. Experience in financial services, including banking, capital markets, wealth management, or global asset management. Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree preferred. One or more current professional credentials such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP or CIA. Details
