Overview

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to humanitarian crises to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people affected by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933, the IRC is a global humanitarian NGO active in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities, delivering lasting impact by restoring safety, dignity, and hope to millions. If you are a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, join us to positively impact lives worldwide. Background

Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC provides lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. The IRC operates in more than 40 countries and maintains 29 regional offices in U.S. cities, helping refugees resettle and become self-sufficient. Our programs ensure refugees thrive in America—whether ensuring children are enrolled in school, adults gain self-reliance through employment or entrepreneurship, or families receive essential medical care. IRC Wichita has been assisting refugees since 2011, offering trauma-informed family support, economic empowerment, education for youth and adults, and immigration services. The IRC helps those in need rebuild their lives and regain control of their future in their new home. Scope of Work
