Overview
Client of Innova Solutions is hiring for a SQL Server / .NET Developer role. Position type: Contract (Hybrid). Location: Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. Duration: 12 months with high possibility of extension. Responsibilities
Hands-on development and maintenance of applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and activities. Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met for application changes. Develop, modify, and debug stored procedures and functions using SQL and SQL Server. Understand application logic written in VB.NET or C#.Net and complex stored procedure/function logic in T-SQL. Develop and debug desktop applications using VB.NET and C#.NET. Apply performance tuning for data-intensive applications and participate in agile software development processes. Partner with multiple Technology teams to implement target architecture and migration to a strategic platform. Qualifications / Ideal Candidate
10+ years of development experience using Microsoft technologies. Strong SQL Server experience, stored procedures, and T-SQL. Experience with AutoSys for job control. Proficiency in VB.NET and C#.NET. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication. Educational background: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline. Background in enterprise stress testing; experience with performance tuning for data-intensive applications. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Certifications or demonstrated track record in innovative tech-based solutions is a plus. Nice-to-have / Skills
