Overview
Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Python, Java, Go, AWS). Do you love building and pioneering in the technology space? Capital One seeks Full Stack Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies and driving transformation within Capital One. What youll do: collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions; stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor other engineers; work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enable financial empowerment for millions of Americans; utilize languages and tools including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS services. Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience does not apply) Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks 2+ years of experience in Agile practices Employment and sponsorship : At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer immigration related support for this position. Salary information: The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed by location (for candidates hired to work within those locations). Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location. The actual salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter. This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
