Serve as the Public Information Officer, managing media inquiries and press releases. Enforce Village branding standards and manage the "Love Niles" campaign. Manage the Village social media accounts and collaborate with departments for content. Assist departments with marketing materials and campaigns for services, events, and initiatives. Manage the marketing and communications budget, including producing analytics and reporting. Oversee photography, videography, and marketing/PR firm contracts. Manage banner street pole programs and participate in the Beautification Committee. Marketing and Public Relations Manager , responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing, communications, and public relations plan that supports and advances the goals of the Strategic Plan, strengthens the Niles brand, and works with all departments to maintain cohesive messaging. This position also acts as the Village’s Public Information Officer and main point of contact for media inquiries, and manages social media accounts for the Village. Qualified candidates should… Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Possess at least two (2) years of experience in the marketing, public relations, and/or communications field. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva Pro, social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and Illustrator. Understand and be able to implement best practices in marketing techniques, creative writing, and public relations strategies. Have excellent oral and written communication skills. Have prior experience in directly supervising other employees. Exercise good judgment and decision-making. Be available for regular participation in community and Village events. $89,856 – $125,799 Location
