Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git workflows to automate build, test, and deployment. Coordinate and execute release activities, managing dependencies, risks, and schedules across teams. Troubleshoot deployment issues, perform root cause analysis, and facilitate fixes to ensure reliable releases. Maintain release documentation, manage processes, and continuously recommend improvements. Key Qualifications
DevOps Experience: Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, tools, and workflows (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, monitoring, deployment). Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. Experience managing and optimizing deployment pipelines for cloud and on-premises environments. Strong understanding of release orchestration, version control systems (Git), and branching strategies. Automation Skills: Strong background in automating manual processes using scripting languages or automation frameworks (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.). Ability to design, implement, and maintain automation for build, release, and environment management. Proven experience reducing manual intervention and improving reliability through automation. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Experience: Practical experience applying AI tools or platforms to streamline or enhance DevOps, release management, or operational workflows. Technical Proficiency: Understanding of SDLC phases and how releases fit into the process; experience with CI/CD tools and processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python scripting; experience with Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes; experience with Jira and Confluence; experience with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Wiki, and creating Power BI dashboards; 5+ years in CI/CD, deployment engineering, or related roles; understanding of Java and Node.js microservices, and Azure cloud fundamentals (desirable). Project Management: Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across multiple teams; identify risks and mitigation strategies; manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, documentation of release plans and status reports; lead release meetings and support on-call incident resolution. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Quick diagnosis and resolution of release issues; attention to detail. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and stay updated with trends and best practices. Experience and Education: Typically 8 years of experience in release management or related fields; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Secondary Skills and Experience (Desired)
Design and Development: Define subsystems and interfaces; allocate responsibilities; understand deployment interactions. Technical Enablement: Provide enablement for application components and subsystems; drive critical design decisions. Continuous Delivery Pipeline: Plan, define, and design the system solution; create and enable CD pipelines. Architectural Runway: Develop the runway to support new features; collaborate with Architects and stakeholders.
