Job Description
ProSidian Seeks an ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) Web Designer/Developer to support an engagement for an American scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce that focuses on oceans, major waterways, and the atmosphere. The agency aims to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts, share that knowledge, and conserve coastal and marine ecosystems and resources. The ProSidian Engagement Team provides multi-functional Enterprise Services Staff Support with functional areas in information technology, financial management, human resources, program management and administrative support. The staff augmentation supports standard services across the Department, including IT, financial management, HR, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support. Strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes. Support project teams and program managers; provide daily execution of assigned work functions. Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring departmental processes; summarize issues and findings clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with field offices to identify and correct data gaps and discrepancies. Work with a variety of IT systems to provide Enterprise Services support. Provide acquisition support for all bureaus with IT, financial management, HR, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to support standard services across the Department. Qualifications
The ITSM Web Designer/Developer shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years. Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools. Work products should be thorough, accurate, documented, and compliant with criteria. Duties must be performed competently and professionally meeting milestones and delivery schedules. A bachelor’s degree is required with at least three years of work experience in web design and development. Travel: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. Location: Work shall be conducted CONUS/OCONUS – Seattle, WA. Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe) All ProSidian staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the USG’s designated Security Office Additional Information
