HIGHLIGHTS As an Information Technology Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all IT functions across the organization. This role is responsible for aligning technological initiatives with business goals, ensuring high system availability, driving innovation, and maintaining compliance and security standards. You will oversee the infrastructure, endpoint services, healthcare IT platforms, and service desk operations, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture across the department.
THE ROLE Job Functions
Develop and execute the IT strategic roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives
Lead and mentor IT leadership and technical teams across infrastructure, systems engineering, endpoint services, and healthcare IT
Oversee enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, AzureAD/Entra, Intune, AWS, and endpoint management platforms
Ensure optimal performance and availability of PACS, RIS, EHR, and teleradiology applications
Champion automation and integration initiatives using PowerShell, Python, and API technologies
Direct service desk operations, ensuring SLA compliance and user satisfaction
Manage Teams Voice provisioning and telecom services
Establish and enforce IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance policies
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
Oversee IT asset management, procurement planning, and inventory forecasting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clinical workflows and business operations
Lead the development and implementation of HIPAA HITRUST compliance programs, ensuring that IT operations, data handling, and security controls align with federal and industry healthcare standards
Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses related to HIPAA HITRUST and oversee remediation plans
Coordinate audits, documentation, and reporting to maintain compliance and prepare for HITRUST certification or renewals
Collaborate with legal, clinical, and operations teams to ensure continuous compliance with evolving healthcare data protection laws and frameworks
Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and cost efficiency
Monitor expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and identify opportunities for cost savings within IT operations
Lead workforce planning and staffing strategies to support current and future IT initiatives
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of IT staff
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements
Participate in the 24x7x365 on-call rotation as needed for critical systems
Skills
Strong leadership with the ability to guide diverse technical and business teams
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and healthcare IT systems
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience with PACS systems, HL7/DICOM standards, and radiology workflows
Proficiency in automation, scripting, and system integration
Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL frameworks and endpoint support best practices
Commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency
Experience with OnePacs, Mirth, OsiriX, Fluency Direct, and endpoint management tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, ITIL Foundation, PACS Fundamentals certified
