Position Overview
As the IT Director, you will guide the formation, operations, and growth of a centralized IT function within SVDP Cincinnati. You will play a key role in defining the IT strategy, building a team, and overseeing the execution of initiatives that align with our mission to serve the community. Your expertise will ensure that technology is leveraged to maximize our impact and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define IT capabilities, services, and products that align with the organization’s goals; develop and maintain a clear IT roadmap and gain stakeholder approval.
Budget Management:
Lead the creation and management of the IT budget, contribute to the overall organizational budget, and manage vendor agreements and costs; develop and enforce an enterprise architecture framework, ensuring infrastructure, applications, data, and security align with best practices.
Project Management:
Oversee IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and align with organizational objectives.
Operations Management:
Develop procedures, manage IT metrics, and ensure service requests are handled efficiently.
IT Governance:
Create and enforce IT policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining robust communication across the organization.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or a business degree with relevant IT experience.
10-15+ years of relevant experience in IT management.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and build new capabilities.
Experience working in a nonprofit environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
