Bosch is seeking a leader for product engineering of AI-based Autonomous Driving systems. The role leads the technical vision, strategy, and execution for global ADAS development and deployment, focusing on L2+ and L3 ADAS solutions and building a data-driven platform for training, testing, and deploying AI models in ADAS systems. Responsibilities Lead ADAS technology strategy: Define and execute the North American ADAS technology roadmap, aligned with global Bosch strategy and customer needs, owning architectural vision, technology selection, and development processes. Drive innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, evaluating new concepts, algorithms, and hardware to enhance ADAS offerings. Build and manage high-performing teams: Lead, mentor, and grow engineers, including resource allocation, performance management, and talent acquisition. Global collaboration: Coordinate with global ADAS teams across engineering, product management, and research to ensure alignment and leverage synergies. AI development ecosystem ownership: Define data lifecycle and business processes for continuously developing and deploying ML-based ADAS systems globally. Oversee design and evolution of the ADAS delivery ecosystemdata acquisition, processing, model training, testing, validation, and deployment. Ensure seamless integration of AI models into the ADAS software architecture and contribute to platform strategy. Champion modern software development and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Agile, Domain and Data-Driven Design) within a multi-customer development lifecycle. Stay abreast of AI/ML trends and adapt the ecosystem accordingly. Customer engagement & partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to understand needs and shape future product development. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Last 5 years of proven experience leading complex software projects from concept to production in the ADAS domain. deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with data lifecycle management, including data acquisition, processing, and storage. Proficient in C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages. Experience with ADAS system architecture and development for L2+ and L3 autonomy. Strong leadership skills and experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with senior management and external stakeholders. Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years in software engineering with a focus on embedded systems, automotive, or robotics; significant experience in data-driven software development including ML/AI. Proven leadership of large, global, cross-functional project teams including engineers, product managers, project managers, and financial staff. Comfortable interacting with C-suite management to develop and implement overall vision. Knowledge of automated driving technology and the automotive industry. Ability to rapidly adapt to new business challenges and translate them into cloud-based architecture solutions for a global multi-customer landscape. Additional Information The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $290,000 - $450,000. Individual pay is determined by factors such as experience, knowledge, role complexity, and location. The range does not include annual bonus or other compensation.
