Who We Are
To win in the home goods space, Wayfair has to regularly make tactical decisions to influence revenue trends and improve the customer experience, and also needs to keep a tight pulse on progress along strategic goals. To inform these, we require a deep understanding of trends in internal performance indicators, customer health and competitive developments. Wayfair’s Business Trends team is the C-suite’s right hand in steering revenue growth, monitoring performance drivers, and surfacing tactical and strategic opportunities in real time. We are looking for a Senior Manager who will own the revenue performance narrative for Wayfair’s North American business with a focus on wayfair.com, combining sharp analysis of input metrics with executive storytelling that shapes weekly leadership decisions. In this role, you will tightly partner with Commercial, Operations, and Technology leaders in understanding the impact of recipe input metrics (e.g. ship speed, availability or price levels) on revenue performance, surface and prioritize revenue improvement opportunities across both immediate and long-term horizons, and align on narratives which are shared in our weekly status report to the C-suite. You will also closely collaborate with the Head of CompIntel in understanding competitive trends driving revenue, the Head of Business Trends Advanced Insights in expanding the Business Trends toolkit and advancing use cases for GenAI / agentic AI, and with our Data Engineering team in improving our foundational data platform. This role reports to the Director of Business Trends & Competitive Intelligence. This role offers an opportunity to shape the revenue agenda of a Fortune 500 e-commerce leader, with visibility and impact at the highest levels of the company. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen, an ability to tie different data inputs to a consistent narrative and strong cross-team collaboration to influence both short and long term revenue tactics. What You'll Do
Partner with the Director of Business Trends to craft a weekly C-suite update that drives decisions on short-
and mid-term revenue priorities with a focus on wayfair.com. Collaborate with key leaders across Commercial (e.g. Pricing, Category Management, Marketing, Promotions), Operations (e.g. Logistics, Service) and Technology (e.g. in relation to site load speed or tech-driven site issues) in improving input metrics and forming a narrative on trends which flow into the weekly C-suite update. Identify and analyze connections between wayfair.com, wayfair.ca, our SRBs (e.g. Birch Lane) and our luxury brand (Perigold), highlighting key similarities and differences in e.g. customer mix and seasonal approach. Support the GM of wayfair.ca in understanding revenue drivers and making the connections to the US business. Ensure ongoing reporting cadence for the SRBs (e.g. Birch Lane) whilst staying fluent on key revenue trends across these stores. Build a 6-18 months roadmap outlining our plan to improve the positioning of Business Trends as the connective tissue across Commercial, Operations and Technology. This includes continuously improving our modeling of input metrics and macro factors to predict revenue performance. Collaborate with the Head of Business Trends Advanced Insights and the Head of CompIntel in advancing joint OKRs. Develop and maintain tracking of macroeconomic trends (e.g., housing market), ensuring external drivers are systematically factored into revenue performance analysis. Oversee and refine dashboards and guide enhancements to predictive models that inform decision-making, ensuring analytical rigor while leveraging a global analyst team for execution. Present findings confidently to senior stakeholders across the US and global business. Act as the go-to expert for performance insights across the North American business with a focus on wayfair.com. Provide dotted-line leadership to a global analyst team, ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability of dashboards and data foundations. What You'll Need
