Act as a dedicated manager and coach, providing regular feedback and helping each engineer grow in their career to ensure the team's overall health and success. Guide the team's technical direction, ensuring their work aligns with broader Ads Safety principles and roadmaps. Contribute to the design process by reviewing and co-authoring design documents, serve as a key technical decision-maker for the team's designs, ensuring they are scalable. Act as a key liaison between the team and cross-functional partners, including PM, Trust and Safety leads, Legal, and other engineering teams. Model and enforce sustainable engineering practices, including reviewing postmortems and launches, helping drive operational excellence, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability of the systems. Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects. 3 years of experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems. 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. Preferred qualifications

Experience with applied AI/LLM agent technologies. Experience in back-end and front-end technologies (e.g., C++, Python, Java, Go). Experience with workflow systems and streaming analytics. Experience in data/analytics infrastructure concepts and working with big data systems. Experience with Google technologies like Spanner, F1, or Bigtable. About The Job

The AE ecosystem is reimagining the ecosystem with AI, LLMs, and Agent-powered innovations to enable effective policy reviews and enforcement at scale.
