This Senior Vice President role is an opportunity to lead communications for a high-profile fintech client that shapes how consumers and businesses navigate the modern economy. We’re looking for a seasoned communications leader with deep earned media expertise across both B2C and B2B, a sharp instinct for culturally relevant storytelling, and a proven ability to manage global, integrated, multi-channel campaigns. You should be organized, self-starting, thrive in fast-moving environments—juggling multiple priorities while driving high-impact strategy, execution, and results. Responsibilities

Serve as the senior strategic lead across a marquee fintech account, guiding communications strategy, earned media planning, and day-to-day execution Develop and lead earned media campaigns across consumer, lifestyle, business, fintech, and personal finance press Conceptualize integrated communications programs that position the brand at the intersection of culture, lifestyle, innovation, and financial empowerment Build narratives tapping into news, pop culture, and consumer behavior trends to generate attention and relevance Drive communications around major product launches, feature rollouts, and brand marketing campaigns across global markets Partner with product, brand, and creative teams to ensure message alignment across paid, earned, owned, and social channels Operate with organization and precision—managing scopes, budgets, reporting, and team delivery Proactively identify risks and opportunities, bringing forward solutions that strengthen client outcomes Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; promote a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering culture Represent Edelman’s capabilities, identifying new ways to support the client’s broader business goals Stay immersed in cultural conversation, competitive trends, and the media landscape to fuel real-time relevance Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or integrated marketing, preferably within an agency Demonstrated success developing and executing earned-led, integrated campaigns across B2B and B2C Deep understanding of the fintech space with the ability to translate complex topics into human, culturally resonant narratives Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fast-paced environments and leading multi-stakeholder, multi-region initiatives with clarity and control Strong executive communications programs and ability to support senior leaders with confidence and discretion Expertise navigating the modern media landscape across national, business, consumer, and lifestyle media Strong writing and storytelling skills across formats Experience in an integrated agency team (IAT) environment across paid, owned, earned, social, and influencer marketing Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to lead multiple workstreams Culturally attuned and creatively driven—aware of news, pop culture, and digital trends Collaborative leadership style that empowers teams and drives high performance Willingness to travel as needed Compensation

$128,000 - $205,000 a year An employee’s pay will be based on factors including education, qualifications, experience, location, performance, and business needs. The range is part of DJEH’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include bonuses, PTO, and region-specific benefits.
