Overview
United Flow Technologies is a platform established in July 2021 to invest in the municipal and industrial water and wastewater market. UFT has partnered with market leading businesses to create a national provider of process, pump, automation & control, and other equipment solutions. We’re just getting started making strategic partnerships to provide clean water across the country!
This position is office based in Irving/ Las Colinas, TX and requires working onsite with flexibility depending on business needs. Occasional travel up to 10% to specific locations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partner:
Lead or assist with HR projects including policy development, system implementation, and process improvement
Employee Relations:
Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, investigate and resolve complex employee issues and grievances with fairness and consistency. Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations issues, conflict resolution
Performance Management:
Support HR Manager in setting clear performance expectations, delivering effective feedback, conducting performance reviews, and implementing development plans
HRIS Systems:
Paylocity Talent and People and Confirm Performance Management System
Culture and Engagement:
Promote a positive workplace culture by championing an inclusive and diverse company culture that increases team member engagement and satisfaction
Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
Ensure policies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Mitigate risk by maintaining thorough documentation and following best practices
Background / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or strategic HR advisory role. Certification from SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is a plus
Strong knowledge of multi-state HR compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and HR best practices. Strong preference for California employment laws experience. Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of integrity
Business Acumen: Understanding business strategy and how People operations can drive value creation
Analytical Mindset: Leverage data and analytics to solve problems and make informed recommendations
Adaptability and Collaboration: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a constantly changing environment. Foster teamwork and work cross-functionally to deliver business outcomes
Office based position in Las Colinas, TX onsite with flexibility depending on business needs. Occasional travel 10% to specific locations.
