Itron, Inc. Duties And Responsibilities Growth and profitability for grid management services line of business. Services segment includes Outage, Grid Reliability, Failure analysis, power quality, grid planning and related analytics, optimization and control outcomes leveraging Itron's Distributed Intelligence technology. Includes established global product lines with back-office analytics for the same target segments. Line of business leadership includes scope of all Strategy, Product Management and Product Marketing deliverables for these product lines, including: Line of business strategy, Market segmentation, Competitive Assessment, Business Cases, Roadmap. Whole product definition, GTM and positioning. Driving product portfolio adoption by identifying customer opportunities, defining Go-to-market, aligning channel with solutions, collaborating with sales and marketing to close bookings. Support technology trade-off management through PLC and NPI process. Ensure product level margin and customer satisfaction through lifecycle. Application platform strategy, roadmap and execution resulting in industry leadership for utility information use cases, including but not limited to IEE, OO. Train internal and external customers about products, services and roadmaps. Resolve conflicting priorities between departments to achieve best-case outcomes. Research competitive market landscape and best practices. Develops competitive positioning, case studies, presentations and collateral for the Itron offering. Participate as spokesperson for the product line at trade shows and conferences. Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Product Management to understand customer challenges, spending patterns, and Outcomes-related solutions that can solve problems. Support analysis, development and day-to-day partner strategy with Product Management, Partnerships, and Sales teams. Make decisions with significant bottom-line and growth implications for the company. Determine roadmaps, pricing, go-to-market, messaging and positioning for each product line. Forecast and assess commercial risks and mitigations for product line and segment level. Guide application platform strategy, roadmap, partnerships, leadership and scope. Coach and mentor the team. Lead trade-off decisions, escalations and problem resolution. Support prioritization of portfolio and bundling of operational support for the line of business. Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of experience developing businesses, building business cases, interacting with customers, performing product management, and/or developing strategic plans Master's degree in related field or equivalent experience Expert in Product Management and a role model in the discipline Rare combination of technical, business and market knowledge: Utility Industry Leadership, Business Analytics Apps Domain, Change Agent Working knowledge in utility distribution planning, engineering and operations; familiar with ADMS, OMS, GIS and related OT systems and their use cases and available solutions Experience in consultative solution selling, market/business development, understanding utility challenges and market opportunities, utility business case modeling Strong analytic background; able to think about business, regulatory and technical issues and their interactions (systems thinking) Strong and flexible communication skills for both technical and executive audiences Self-starter, well organized, flexible, and motivated to grow a new line of business for Itron Ability to manage projects, including cross-functional teams, to meet tight deadlines amid significant uncertainty Develop and drive alignment for compelling strategies in fast-changing, highly ambiguous environments; establish a baseline roadmap and adjust with a market-driven approach Judgment for business and technology risk management Leadership to drive internal and external alignment across diverse technical and commercial stakeholders, including C-level discussions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Top-tier MBA (or equivalent) and undergraduate degree; or experience with top-tier management consulting Knowledge of utility/city business models, smart grid and IoT trends; ability to learn technology quickly Proven track record of incubating and developing new business, prioritizing opportunities, assessing go-to-market challenges and sales models, and adapting processes and systems Must exercise judgment for business and technology risk management Leadership to drive alignment across stakeholders including C-suite; experience in external and internal coordination Preferred Skills & Experience Proven success in leading product strategy and execution for grid management or utility-focused technology solutions Deep understanding of distributed energy resources (DER), grid reliability, outage management, and distribution planning Experience with Distributed Intelligence platforms and their application in utility operations Strong background in product lifecycle management (PLC/NPI), including trade-off analysis and margin optimization Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Service Delivery teams Experience in go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and business case modeling Familiarity with ADMS, OMS, GIS and related analytics platforms Skilled in stakeholder engagement across all levels including C-suite, customers, and partners Experience mentoring product teams, resolving cross-departmental conflicts, and leading strategic prioritization Strong communication and presentation skills; experience representing product lines at industry events Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive strategic decisions in fast-changing environments Knowledge of smart grid, IoT trends, and utility/city business models Experience in business incubation, including evaluating go-to-market challenges, sales models, and operational support systems This position requires up to

30% travel , including visits to customer sites, industry events, and collaboration meetings across regions. This position includes a competitive benefits package including financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more. It is eligible for our annual bonus program and annual equity grant program. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location.
