About the Role: As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for supporting the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
Representing yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions
Be aware of and take responsibility for your department's strengths and identifying commercial opportunities and working with your Department Manager to act on them
Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team has the ability to work towards actively promoting and selling products to customers
Follow up that your team is actively promoting our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) & in-store sustainability initiatives
Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges
Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers
Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions
Team & Development
Retain and share knowledge with the Store team
Collaborate with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team
Give & receive feedback to learn, develop & support each other
Regular communication to store colleagues – daily, weekly meetings
Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house
Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial presentation, with good garment care
Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation
Ensure full garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room routines
Follow in-store omni services & tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store)
Maintain price signs in-store according to global/local guidelines
Update BOH areas with key information, health & safety, tidiness
Responsible for opening & closing of store daily

expected base salary range is $23.58- $27.82 hourly
