The Senior Application Developer will join an established team to contribute to and grow our software projects, support staff, and advance the firms commitments to its people. This role involves maturing technical skills, training, involvement in product launches, and active collaboration within the team. The work includes software that manages billions of dollars of state and federal budgets, processes billions of claims, and develops portals for provider/client use, including work related to fraud, waste, and abuse. This position opens several project opportunities across the firm. Essential Functions

Participate as a key member on the development team Understand and train others on common OOP concepts and design patterns Self-review skill gaps to address with quarterly training hours Take ownership of change management and SDLC processes and tools Provide and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews Debug code across the entire technology stack Develop and document technical requirements and decisions Lead small proof-of-concept projects to test improvements Consider user experience and measure standard performance metrics Conduct knowledge-sharing training sessions within and outside assigned teams Establish strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solid solutions Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times Lead peers in expanding others skills Deliver high-quality services and products Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 3 years related work experience required; 5+ years preferred Solid experience in .NET; .NET Core/6+ preferred Experience with ASP.NET; ASP.NET Core preferred High proficiency with C#; proficiency in JavaScript and SQL languages preferred Experience in mentoring staff of all levels Experience in leading development is a plus Demonstrated proficiency in full-stack development Experience with consuming and developing web services and web APIs Experience with CI/CD is a plus Understanding of secure coding practices Experience in technical requirement gathering and documentation Ability to work independently on projects and within a remote team Maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and team members Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel on occasion based on business needs Experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, Code First Migrations, RESTful API design, and Atlassian tools is a plus Benefits
