We are seeking a Declassification Analyst to support a federal government contract and mission. Responsibilities

Directly support Naval Reactors at NRHQ Day-to-day tasking provided by Naval Reactors; priorities established by B&A management Recognize Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program information Complete specialized training in E.O. 13526 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification and clarifying guides, recognition of NNPP equities, understanding of information bracketing, following all SOPs, and proper disposition of reviewed documents Complete training by the Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers (HRRDR) for identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review Complete training by Fluor Marine Propulsion to become certified as a Derivative Classifier Recognize equities from other agencies and refer documents appropriately Perform reviews to a high standard with minimal supervision: Systematic Reviews, FOIA, mandatory Declassification Review, litigation Reviews, referrals Reviews, records Management, go-no-go Reviews, and public Utterance reviews Perform administrative tasks efficiently: general admin tasks, grading, data collection, researching, program analysis, sorting records, technical work, reviewing training, writing SOPs, and handling document data Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, guides, and SOPs Work constructively with peers and Naval Reactors on reviews Build and maintain relationships with Naval Reactors and other agencies Apply all relevant topics to documents Read and comprehend complex documents and technical graphs Be open to questions and feedback Assist with additional work/tasks as assigned Respect and follow room, building, team, and company guidelines Be flexible with feedback and assignment changes Open to criticism, contribute ideas, and participate in team discussions Demonstrate integrity and professional representation of B&A Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience, or equivalent experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for education. Required Skills

Able to read and comprehend technical drawings, manuals, etc., and evaluate content to complete informed reviews Preferred background/knowledge in STEM Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and reading comprehension Able to determine if a document or material contains classified information and/or CUI Read paper documents and use a computer at least 8 hours a day Basic proficiency in program applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, BlueBeam, SharePoint) Capable of following detailed instructions regularly Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and meet deadlines with little to no supervision Naval Reactors Headquarters (NRHQ), Navy Yard – Washington, DC Minimal work at the NARA College Park location (as needed) Access to Naval Nuclear Laboratory customer sites Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), minimum four days on-site Required Core Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (on-site) Security Clearance
