Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced, independent, hands-on WMS Solution Architect to lead the design, integration, and implementation of warehouse management and automation solutions across our North American distribution network. As a key member of the Enterprise Applications team, this role will support a complex aftermarket automotive parts business with over 500,000 SKUs, 15 distribution centers (DCs), and a mix of owned and 3PL-operated facilities - including several DCs approaching 1 million square feet. This is a hybrid role at our corporate headquarters in Colmar, PA, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week. The role also involves roughly 25% travel, visiting one of our warehouses each month or so. Primary Duties
Collaborate with business and operations leaders to evaluate, scope, and design WMS and warehouse automation solutions tailored to high-volume, high-SKU distribution environments. Architect scalable, integrated solutions that connect WMS platforms with SAP ECC WM/EWM and automation technologies. Lead end-to-end implementation efforts including requirements gathering, solution design, vendor selection, configuration, testing, and deployment. Support integration with 3PL systems and processes, ensuring seamless data exchange and operational alignment. Develop and maintain architectural standards, documentation, and best practices for warehouse systems and automation. Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and external partners. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain systems. Qualifications
Expertise in at least one tier-1 WMS system (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM). Strong understanding of SAP ECC WM and/or SAP EWM integration. Proven experience with warehouse automation technologies (VLMs, AMRs, pick-to-light, conveyor systems, etc.). Experience working in high-volume, high-SKU distribution environments. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influence, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Education / Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master\'s preferred) 7+ years of experience in WMS solution architecture and implementation. SAP certification in WM or EWM. Experience integrating with 3PL systems and managing hybrid warehouse environments. Familiarity with cloud-based WMS deployments and IoT integration. Experience in the automotive aftermarket or similar parts distribution industries. Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologies Nearest Major Market:
