Role Overview: As the Director of Business Engagement for ES Classified Digital Services, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide engagement efforts to advance the adoption, integration, and success of classified digital capabilities across RTX. You will serve as the senior liaison between business units and digital technology teams, ensuring that strategic priorities, digital transformation efforts, and technical roadmaps are aligned with mission-critical objectives. This role requires deep expertise in stakeholder alignment, classified environments, program execution, and agile leadership. You will drive growth, identify new opportunities, and shape early-stage initiatives while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence in a secure environment. What You Will Do

Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior business unit and corporate technology leaders to understand evolving needs, priorities, and digital service requirements. Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner, translating classified mission needs into actionable technology solutions. Collaborate across cross-functional teams—including Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Program Leads—to deliver high-value, mission-aligned outcomes Growth & Opportunity Development

Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and mission-critical initiatives where CDS capabilities can be leveraged. Shape strategic plans to expand classified digital reach, drive adoption, and increase the impact of digital solutions across RTX’s classified portfolio. Lead early pursuit activities, including scoping, feasibility, and stakeholder alignment for new programs and initiatives. Program Planning & Execution

Oversee initial phases of CDS-aligned projects, including business case development, chartering, requirements definition, and milestone planning. Ensure alignment across stakeholders on priorities, success metrics, and technical dependencies to accelerate delivery and reduce risk. Leadership & Collaboration

Facilitate transparent communication and structured collaboration between business units, enterprise functions, and internal CDS delivery teams. Serve as a senior escalation point and problem-solver for complex business or technical conflicts. Provide executive-level reporting on engagement outcomes, progress toward goals, and risks across the portfolio. Governance & Roadmap Leadership

Maintain a centralized view of CDS service roadmaps and ensure business unit alignment with digital strategy, timelines, and enterprise architecture. Track strategic initiatives against KPIs, risk frameworks, and cost models to ensure sustainable, secure delivery. Qualifications You Must Have

Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 14 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 12 years experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience as a Program Manager leading large multi-disciplined / cross-functional matrixed teams focused on technical applications or efforts. Domestic Travel between 10-15% Qualifications We Prefer

An active and transferable US government issued security clearance is highly desired. Experience leading large-scale information technology programs, particularly those involving multi-site, matrixed teams, and virtual collaboration. Working experience in an elevated Agile role. Exposure to agile management tools (e.g., JIRA). Experience working in a program and/or engineering environment. Experience in IT service delivery within national security environments. Knowledgeable of Contracts, SOWs, BOEs, Information Technology and Engineering (SW & Systems) Processes and Practices PMP and/or PMX/CMX Certification Control Account Management (CAM) or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or similar budget tracking experience. Location: Hybrid at RTX CDS location (Richardson, TX - McKinney, TX - Tucson, AZ - Tewksbury, MA) What We Offer

Salary range: 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
