The senior accountant will report to the controller and work with senior leadership and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial close and reporting. The role requires high professional standards, attention to detail, and involvement in routine month-end close processes and ad hoc accounting support functions. The candidate should be detailed-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage time effectively with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency. Job Objective
The senior accountant will be responsible for supporting monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy across accounting records, and contributing to financial reporting and controls. Main Responsibilities
Prepare accurate complex account reconciliations and journal entries. Assist with month-end processes, including project reconciliations, reviewing reconciliations prepared by others, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all accounting-related systems. Support invoice processing and payment application. Collaborate with senior management on reporting requirements and special projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Manage invoicing for additional projects and respond to internal requests from other teams. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits, tax filings and other regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Partner with division and business unit leaders to ensure accurate coding. Contribute to building a positive team culture and strong relationships with division leaders and talents. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
2-4 years of related accounting and financial experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA preferred Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting policies Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a geographically dispersed, matrixed environment Ability to work cross-functionally at all levels Adept time-management, organizational skills and strict attention to detail Strong sense of ownership, accountability and ability to work independently Superior analytical and problem-solving skills Professional and Leadership Competencies
Continued participation in professional development Specific Technical Skills
Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel proficiency required) ERP platform experience required; SAP experience preferred Additional Local Requirements
