Branch Team, Director of Post-Closing & Underwriting SUMMARY: Are you a driven self-starter? Eagle Title, an award-winning title company, is seeking a dynamic Settlement Officer in Baltimore to fuel revenue growth and deliver exceptional client experiences. At Eagle Title, we’re redefining the real estate transaction process through innovation and a client-first mindset. As a Settlement Officer, you’ll facilitate smooth closings while playing a key role in expanding our client base. This position blends sales and settlement responsibilities: generating new business, strengthening relationships with real estate professionals, and contributing to our continued growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Generation : Proactively pursue new business opportunities by networking with Baltimore-area real estate professionals, lenders, and other industry partners. Identify and act on leads to expand Eagle Title’s presence. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with agents, brokers, lenders, and clients. Be their trusted resource for all title and settlement needs. Closing Facilitation:
Coordinate and manage closings efficiently, ensuring a seamless, professional experience. Highlight Eagle Title’s value at every step. Customer Experience & Education:
Deliver responsive, proactive communication and educate clients on our services to ensure confidence and satisfaction. Market Intelligence:
Stay current on Baltimore market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities. Team Collaboration:
Partner with processors and colleagues to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency throughout the settlement process. Sales Strategy:
Develop a sales activity plan, set measurable goals, and hold yourself accountable to achieving results. Collaborate with the sales team to execute growth initiatives. REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proficiency with IT systems (experience with Qualia preferred). 2+ years of sales experience is a plus but not required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred). Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment preferred.
