Responsibilities
Assisting the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to enhance processes and increase manufacturing efficiencies in production Analyze, organize, implement, and maintain the production process flow of existing processes; perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and fixtures; identify cost-reduction opportunities and justify new process equipment to improve performance Assist with the development and implementation of equipment maintenance programs and repairs Assist with troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing systems; investigate operational problems and recommend solutions Develop working instructions, workmanship standards, process documents, and ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manage manufacturing documentation (drawings, BOMs, work instructions, workmanship standards, and process procedures) to maintain quality and consistency Assist with New Product Introduction, including building and debugging new equipment, equipment characterizations, process validations, and IQ/OQ/PQ activities Qualifications
Entry level to 5 years of work experience Detail-oriented with good organization and time management Motivated, self-driven and independent Strong desire for continuous learning and acquisition of manufacturing systems knowledge Ability to operate in a collaborative work environment Demonstrated knowledge of basic physical principles and engineering concepts Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent Effective verbal and written communication skills Proven problem-solving skills in a team setting Job Details
