Overview
Design Build Construction Manager - Federal Buildings at Jacobs. Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Jacobs. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. This role supports large capital projects across the US, utilizing Design-Build expertise to ensure safe and efficient delivery. The role involves leadership of field operations, coordination with the General Contractor, and collaboration with Jacobs’ Quality and Safety professionals to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. It is a 100% on-site role and may require extended travel to locations throughout the US depending on project locations. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage contractors; supervise construction, commissioning, and project closeout. Manage and track project schedules; ensure final acceptance and turnover of projects to clients. Lead field operations, supervise teams, facilitate construction coordination meetings, and drive actions to minimize risks and resolve construction issues. Work closely with the General Contractor to deliver projects safely, on time, and in accordance with quality standards, with support from Quality and Safety professionals. Coordinate with technical subject matter experts, project control specialists, and digital delivery professionals as part of a collaborative project team. Qualifications
Experience managing firm-fixed-price projects. Basic computer skills and fluency in cloud-based project controls platforms for documents management, RFIs, daily reports, etc. At least 10 years of experience in construction and administration of large projects. Knowledge of project planning, pre-construction, delivery methods, and building systems. Working knowledge of CPM scheduling software. Ability and willingness to travel to client sites up to 75%. Ideally, you'll also have: CMAA Certification and/or DBIA certification. Experience delivering Design-Build projects. OSHA 30. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering. Salary and Benefits
The base salary range is $130,000.00 to $170,000.00. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
