Position Description

Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (at least in accordance with MIL-STD-1629A Notice 2 and international best practices)

Conduct Reliability Prediction Analysis (at least in accordance with MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2 or ANSI/VITA 51.1-2008 (or later versions))

Conduct Parts Derating and Stress Analysis

Conduct Worst Case Analysis (at least compliant with the requirements and expectations in TOR-2013-00297)

Conduct Stress and Dynamic Analysis Report.

Conduct Single-Events Effects Analysis (SEEA), Power Supply Transient (PST) and Sneak Circuits Analysis (SCA)

Conduct failure reports, root cause analysis and drive corrective actions

Be able to meet aggressive/accelerated schedule deadlines

Coordinate a team of multi-disciplined engineers throughout the entire failure analysis process and make recommendations to the Failure Review Board (FRB)

Drive reliability improvement efforts and issue resolution with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs, Material Control, and Quality departments

Review of fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures

Develop test procedures, perform functional testing, analyze test results, and draw conclusions for equipment and systems

Devise new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems

Support internal and external design and development gate reviews with related documentation

Support customer meetings

Participate in proposals and trade studies, including evaluating contractor and subcontractor proposals for technical feasibility

Requirements

Minimum Education / Experience: 6 Years with Bachelor’s in Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and/or Master

Hardware/schematic design, analysis/simulations and test experience.

Capable of multi-tasking; working on multiple projects & supporting production activities

Capable of coming up-to-speed quickly on new technologies.

Good communication, with the ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong documentation skills

Great problem-solving skills.

Proficient in personal computing skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary Salary Range:

$125,000 - $175,000
