As private equity investments in portfolio companies close, our clients quickly transition from the deal to implementing operations plans to drive value, with tax as a key component. In your role as a Private Equity Tax Operations Manager, you will be immersed in the evolving tax environment by teaming with our global private equity professionals to develop and oversee the implementation of post-transaction tax operating plans, prepare income tax filings, prepare and audit income tax provisions, consult on planning opportunities, and coach and develop your engagement teams while working on globally active business entities. The opportunity The Private Equity Tax Operations Manager role involves dynamic tax work and visibility into the full life cycle of private equity-backed companies across a wide range of business industries and varied entity structures (e.g., corporate, partnership, domestic, foreign). In addition to day-to-day US federal and state tax compliance, you will be exposed to tax implications from acquisitions, refinancings, restructurings or divestitures, including transaction advisory, accounting methods, state and local tax, credits and incentives, and international tax. Responsibilities

You will manage all tax compliance and consulting projects for active business entities across various sectors. You’ll handle tax reporting implications of transactions, including tracking purchase accounting, debt transactions, and cash tax modeling. You will support client engagements by coordinating day-to-day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, delivering services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics. You will stay current on tax developments and apply them to complex situations, identify and resolve technical tax issues, share insights to improve efficiency, and collaborate with team members to identify new opportunities for clients across service lines. Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately five years of related work experience CPA certification or licensed attorney status A background in US federal and state income tax compliance and accounting across multiple industries and entity structures (corporate and/or partnership) Experience managing budgets and projects The ability to prioritize across multiple projects and engage directly with client teams Ideally, you will also have
