Solution Engineer - Innovation Hub role at Jobs via Dice. This role focuses on merging business and technical requirements to craft comprehensive solutions, conducting discovery sessions, and providing strategic recommendations and best practices tailored to customer needs. The position is Microsoft onsite only. Responsibilities
Deliver customer engagements: prepare and deliver technical engagements including strategy sessions, envisioning workshops, architecture design sessions, and rapid prototyping to demonstrate key capabilities and finalize technology choices, with a focus on Japanese enterprises and their overseas subsidiaries. AI Transformation Leadership: act as a trusted voice within the business and for customers on the latest AI platform and technology trends, guiding transformation journeys and prioritizing AI use cases through design thinking workshops for Japanese companies and their global operations. Strategic Vision and Planning: own and execute a clear strategic vision for AI transformation initiatives on targeted accounts, aligning with organizational goals and customer needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Solution Design and Architecture: develop comprehensive solution architectures based on patterns and practices tied to customer requirements, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance; uncover and prioritize opportunities through consulting to address real customer needs. Cross Platform Collaboration: integrate capabilities across the entire cloud platform, identify synergies, and optimize cross-platform integration; collaborate with peers and stakeholders to advance the Innovation Hub as the home of Cross Solution AI Transformation. Technical Depth: maintain and grow expertise in AI solutions (e.g., AI Foundry, Fabric Data platform), develop skills in AI management and security, real-time intelligence, and application architecture; stay updated with market trends and engage with technical communities. Technical Sales and Sales Leadership: act as a strategic change agent to shape Microsoft's programs and engineering offerings; create scalable, field-relevant assets through internal communities and connect technical capabilities to sales opportunities, serving as a trusted voice with sales leaders and account teams. Required/minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience. Experience delivering design thinking or similar context analysis/problem framing. Experience in designing architectures, building, and deploying AI solutions. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Japanese with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts across diverse teams and customer stakeholders. 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid or on-prem infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture). Experience as an Enterprise Architect designing and implementing large-scale, complex solutions aligned with business goals and technical requirements; ability to integrate various technologies and platforms. Experience in a consultancy role providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations to customers. Experience in requirements capture, prioritization, evidence capture and impact quantification to demonstrate business value; issue, risk and constraint identification aligned with strategic goals. Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, networking, and related technologies; knowledge of industry standards.
