The Assistant Human Resources Manager will report to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for greeting and assisting all resort employees, applicants and visitors along with maintaining the day-to-day administrative function of a highly active Human Resources office. Responsibilities include benefit administration, compensation, recruitment and retention, employee / labor relations, counseling, safety and training / development. Maintain organizational skills and the ability to multi-task; handle special projects, coordinate colleague events, maintain the office environment and provide support for a variety of office administrative functions including but not limited to: Maintaining files and providing support for the employment process. General administration such as screen calls, digital filing, heavy data entry, and mail. Ensuring data integrity for all Human Resources systems. Assisting with day-to-day payroll inquiries and processing. Spearhead employee events and orientations. Keep control and maintain of office supplies and equipment. Qualifications
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Proficient public speaking skills. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with various situations. Must possess a professional presentation. Outstanding people skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Excellent relationship building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as social media applications. Highly responsible and reliable. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. Previous Human Resources experience or hospitality related experience preferred. A desire to expand into all HR functions and processes.
