Provide legal counsel on complex labor and employment matters to City policymakers and departmental leadership Represent the City in litigation before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies Draft legal documents, including motions for summary judgment and settlement agreements Manage eDiscovery processes and prepare witnesses for depositions and trials Conduct training sessions for City departments on employment law-related topics What is Required (Qualifications)

Membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association or eligibility to waive into Washington Expertise in state and federal employment law with recent litigation experience Proven ability to advise on complex employment and labor issues, particularly for public employers Strong legal writing and oral communication skills Ability to manage a litigation portfolio effectively under tight deadlines How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
