DevOps Azure DevOps .NET iis quality assurance automation Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following outlines the key responsibilities for this position. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required and may not be included here. Develop and implement .NET and IIS application software release practices that can be used enterprise wide to create a consistent and commonly understood process by all concerned parties including but not limited to Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Continuous Deployment Orchestration and Build Automation engineering Serve as SME for Azure DevOps and other lifecycle tools - tools that facilitate development testing monitoring CI/CD capabilities Serve as SME for Kubernetes deployment strategy and container cluster administration Perform production and non-production build deploy activities for application and SQL schema releases Collaborate with testing teams and assist with continuous delivery of builds to environment along with performance testing setup/execution Act as a liaison between application development and infrastructure teams in the establishment of needed infrastructure in all environments Partner with internal IT teams such as Application Development Infrastructure Database Administration and Quality Assurance Install configure troubleshoot patch and upgrade software application products Monitors usage and change configurations to proactively improve capacity or performance of environment Participate in system performance tuning and technical troubleshooting sessions Minimum Skills and Competencies
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education training and work-related experience 3 years of Application Development experience to include Kubernetes and containers 5 years of distributed build/deploy experience working with middleware applications Expert working knowledge of Azure DevOps Services including GIT and build/release pipelines Significant build automation experience utilizing YAML ability to refactor application builds to use or implement use of NuGet packages. Hands-on experience with building and deploying .NET Core applications Expert working knowledge of all phases of software development including design coding testing and implementation Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure adhere to project deadlines and procedures multi-task all while being detail-oriented In-depth understanding of core infrastructure services such as Active Directory DNS DHCP SMTP HTTP and security principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a rotating on-call environment. Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of Active Directory DNS IIS PowerShell and YAML Experience working with containers utilizing Kubernetes familiarity with Azure Service Bus MS Application Insights Strong working knowledge of Windows server technologies to include SQL SSMS IIS SSIS etc. Strong working knowledge of scripting language and principles configuration software Ansible Strong knowledge of environment management tools/utilities such as Rancher Fleet Ingress Harbor Chocolatey Nuget npm yarn. Experience with virtual machine provisioning AHV VMWare Hyper-V Citrix Experience with Rubrik Dell SR4VM and disaster recovery concepts for distributed systems architecture in a hybrid cloud model. The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
