The role contributes to the Electrification Services Division in the United States. Role

The Aftermarket Proposal Specialist for ABB (Electrification, Services) will support the Regional Commercial team in developing aftermarket parts and services proposals for power delivery, power utilization and automation systems. You will identify and propose value-added solutions to customers including Preventive Maintenance, Power Distribution upgrades and parts, and drive order and profit growth through strategic marketing of aftermarket services product lines. The role includes various product, system or service life cycle activities supporting proposal development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability. A strong technical background and effective communication and organizational skills are required for this fast-paced, end-customer facing role. Responsibilities

Be a key member of the North America Aftermarket commercial team in supporting the region's orders, revenue and margin plan by owning and driving the development of a high volume of professional proposals for the commercial team Partner with internal and external sales and the technical support team (including application engineering and field services) to provide cost and price for services and equipment needed to develop work scopes and create timely, customer-ready proposals Work with the Region sales team to understand customer requirements, develop deal strategies and analyze the competitive landscape and market pricing Manage the entire opportunity and proposal screening, development, approvals and pricing processes, using Salesforce.com for all active opportunities Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or associate with 4 years and high school with 6 years; or an acceptable combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in customer service Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, Product Development or Field Service Salesforce.com (SFDC) and SAP experience Must possess high levels of personal integrity and business ethics Technical experience with industrial and utility customers and processes More about us
