Senior Graphic / Technical Designer (Performance Equipment) based in Torrance, CA or Beaverton, OR. The role focuses on color and graphic execution across gloves, protective gear, and accessories, using CAD and art skills to bring designs to life. You will support the design of inline performance products, crafting custom colorways and compelling graphics for Sports Marketing. While rooted in baseball, this role may support other sports. The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker with a keen eye for trends, color, and storytelling, and is comfortable collaborating across teams and managing projects from concept through execution. What You’ll Do

Own part of Promo / Sports Marketing Design with category teammates by executing design briefs/requests on calendar. Design inline Performance soft goods such as gloves and accessories for the performance baseball/football/golf categories. Collaborate with the Design Lead to develop seasonal creative strategies for graphics that align with brand direction. Create original, on-brand graphics across all product categories needed, with a focus on Performance Sports (Football/Baseball/Basketball/Golf). Design inline products that balance in the performance space, including soft goods innovation, function, and aesthetic appeal. Translate trend research, consumer insights, and brand DNA into compelling product designs and visual narratives. Work with the Design Lead to design, prepare detailed tech packs, specifications, and presentation materials for Performance Sports. Contribute to color, material, and finish (CMF) direction and product storytelling. Participate in design reviews and present work to internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and contractors as needed. Gather and interpret insights from athletes and trend/market research in collaboration with the Design Lead. Collaborate with the Promo team for in-depth meetings and training on cross-functional category initiatives essential to Promo categories. Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, PLM) to ensure design alignment with price points and creation timelines. Maintain a proactive, independent decision-making mindset and be flexible with multiple season deadlines and SKUs. Create and coordinate graphic implementation at each stage of the product process (concept, prototype/sample review, finalization, approvals) with the Design Lead. Attend inline COE and Promo Meetings to understand inline products that will become Promo (Football/Baseball/Golf/Basketball). Attend weekly PLM Tracker meetings for Football/Baseball/Golf/Basketball and other related categories. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring

7+ years related Product Design / Industrial Design in the sports industry or similar. Degree (BFA / BA / BS) in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related design education preferred. Advanced understanding of design and project storytelling. Strong sketching / rendering skills in multiple mediums, including rapid ideation, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Sketchbook. Expert working knowledge of Adobe CS and Microsoft Office programs. Extensive knowledge of technical materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes for hard goods and soft goods. Ability to function independently or with a team; positive force for the group. Knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino, Maya 3D, Fusion 360 is a plus. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment; meticulous, self-driven, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Location: Beaverton, Oregon at Nike World Headquarters or Torrance, California at JR286 World Headquarters. Domestic travel up to four times per year. What We Offer
