Senior Event & Account Manager, Events & Partnerships
to lead strategy, client relations, and execution for high-profile events. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on event management, team leadership, and new business development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong client partnerships, and delivers exceptional event experiences from concept to completion. What you\'ll do
Lead strategy development, create objectives, conduct research, and execute sponsorship opportunities and experiential activations tailored to each event’s brand needs. Ideate and construct proposals for client strategy meetings and present suggested annual calendar pitches. Manage internal and external client and partner relationships through the development and execution of programming. Oversee day-to-day project planning, including client meetings, budget development and management, contract creation and negotiation, and overall event logistics. Directly manage two Karlitz & Company employees Lead partner calls Oversee and report on assigned partners in collaboration with clients. Provide leadership and management including training KCO employees and leading by example. Review and develop written internal and external client and event documents, including marketing materials, collateral, event overviews, recap decks, leadership run-of-shows, guest itineraries, BEOs, and production schedules. Manage on-site event execution, including setup/breakdown, registration, gift bag distribution, and hospitality. Serve as the primary liaison and single point of contact (pre-event and on-site) between festival managers, partners, vendors, clients, and internal teams. Oversee event recaps, budget reconciliation, and other post-event deliverables. Co-lead biweekly check-ins with internal team members alongside other Senior Managers. Oversee and assist, as needed, with biweekly client calls. Review and approve the work of the Account Manager and Event Coordinator. Guide the team by identifying and communicating next steps. Support new business development, including RFPs and potential client outreach. Occasionally source and produce gift items. Assist with preparation, shipment, and distribution of gift bags. Represent Karlitz & Company professionally while developing and maintaining key client relationships. Lead and mentor junior team members through training and example. Travel extensively for business, including some international travel. Work nights and weekends as needed for events. Skills & Qualifications
4 - 5 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or partnerships. Proven ability to lead strategy and execution for large-scale, high-profile events. Strong client relationship management and communication skills. Experience managing teams, budgets, contracts, and event logistics. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools a plus. Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally, and work evenings/weekends as required. Bachelor\'s Degree. A strong interest in restaurants and culinary activations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. Who We Are
