The Actors Theatre Workshop Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for professional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturally under-served communities. Join us at The Actors Theatre Workshop, an award-winning theatre and community center with a 33-year history! We seek enthusiastic professionals committed to developing connections with private foundations, individual donors, and potential funders in the corporate world. Responsibilities
Projects include facilitating meetings, providing access to grant-making organizations, writing development proposals, and collaborating with other grant-writing and marketing volunteers. Qualifications
Experience in the non-profit sector, as well as individuals who wish to hone their presentation and writing skills through outreach. We are interested in volunteers with energy, spirit, and a desire to raise funds for ATW's operations, community programs, and theatre productions. How To Become An ATW Volunteer
